UIUC The Illinois Club

The Women's Club at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is now The Illinois Club. The secret ballot took place between 6:30-7:30 PM on Wednesday 10 October at the Alice Campbell Alumni Center. Of 333 Paid members of the Club, 85 cast their vote; there were no spoiled ballots.
Votes in Favor of The Illinois Club: 71
Votes in Favor of The Women's Club at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign: 14
Under our constitution a quorum was required (17 members) and for the change to be carried 2/3 of the votes must be in favor. With 84% of the votes in favor of the change, the motion to change the name to The Illinois Club was carried.
